Indie is sleek, shiny, elegant, and so handsome that photos almost don't do him justice. But the best thing about this little panther might be just how easy he is to love.

Indie is a wonderfully calm, social young adult. He's quiet, easygoing, and happy to coexist with both his people and other cats without demanding that the entire household revolve around him. He enjoys playing with a wand toy and has his playful moments, but overall he's an incredibly chill, low-maintenance companion.

There is, however, one reliable way to make Indie abandon all that cool panther dignity: treats.

Bring out something delicious and Indie will pop right up onto his hind legs to politely make his case for why it should immediately belong to him. It's ridiculously cute and one of those little quirks that makes him Indie.

He also gets along beautifully with other cats and would be an especially nice match for someone who already has a friendly feline at home. He's social without being overbearing and seems to take life largely in stride.

Indie didn't have the easiest beginning and was rescued after being left to fend for himself outside. Today he's safe, healthy, and fully vetted — and remarkably, he's remained an incredibly sweet and trusting boy.
