Meet Posey, the sweetest little brown tabby on earth!

Posey was trapped in June 2024 on a rough street in Newark, where she had been fed each day by a kind community caretaker named Ruth. Before her rescue, this petite girl was simply doing her best to survive, day after day. You would never know it from the extraordinary amount of love she has to give.

Posey doesn’t just enjoy affection—she actively seeks it out. She would happily choose a whole load of kisses over a meal, and she loves being close to her people. She is darling, active, curious, and incredibly affectionate.

She also gets along well with other cats and would be a wonderful addition to a loving home. Posey has a good appetite, isn’t fussy about food, and recently received thorough dental care and bloodwork. Everything looked great!

Her estimated DOB is listed as June 17, 2021, although her rescuer believes she may actually be younger. What we know for certain is that Posey is a petite, loving girl with so much life and affection to share.

Posey is currently located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, but transport is available for the right family.
