Eclair has a wiseness about him, as if he knows exactly what you're thinking. He's very much a cat that adapts to and reflects his environment- so the less chaos, the better. We think his ideal home would be a low-stress indoor life with plenty of enrichment and room to do all his favorite cat things.
Eclair came to us after being adopted here 2 years ago as a kitten. He grew up as a solo cat with a small dog that was afraid of cats, so he didn't have much opportunity to get his kitty sillies out. Instead, he searched for enrichment elsewhere- and outdoors! The previous owner told us he has a "joyful soul," but her lifestyle didn't quite match Eclair's personality. We don't have any knowledge of his interaction with other cats. He really wanted to play with the dog in the previous home, so a cat-savvy dog may be just the friend he needs.
