Sprout is domestic short haired calico spayed female, up to date on her shots, around 7 months old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Highland Northwest Indiana.

Hey there! I’m Sprout!! I'm the sweetest little calico around! Are you looking for a kitty to bring a burst of energy and a whole lot of fun into your life? Look no further, here I am!! I am constantly on the move looking for pets and always ready to turn anything into a game! I am absolutely obsessed with making new ( human or kitty) friends!! I was found outside feeling sad, because I thought no one wanted me. Since I came to the shelter, I don't think that anymore! I get lots of pets and I am totally fun, goofy! I'm still looking for my forever home because I can't wait to share my happiness with you!

But don't let my playful teenage spirit fool you! I am the sweetest girl you could ever meet. The very second I'm done playing with my favorite toys all I want to do is cuddle up to someone! I am just a big bundle of love and I have so much love to share! I’ve got all the personality in the world and a heart that is so ready to belong to a real family. Maybe you can come meet me at the shelter? I get along with other kitties ( if you already have one!). Older kids are okay but I'm not sure about dogs though. I hope you'll come and visit me soon! Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't normally get a chance at getting a forever home, a chance! Our fosters & volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to get them used to being pet and to show them no one will hurt them. However, when they go to a new home, some kitties will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months. Please, only apply if you are an experienced cat owner and have patience.
