Happy Spring! Warmer weather is finally on it's way and so is Kitten Season! We need to make room for new Moms and kittens so they can be fixed and get them forever homes! Wally is a domestic short haired black & white, neutered male, up to date on his shots and approximately 2 years old. Wally is available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Northwest Indiana.

My name is Wally and I’m a black and white kitty that's looking for a new home!
I had a home once, but I wasn't taken care of very well, so here I am at the shelter. I'm so happy I have a new start but I'm really looking forward to having a REAL home someday soon.
I'm a little on the shy side at first because I’m still figuring out new people. Don't let my quiet nature fool you though! I'm so ready to be loved! I’m just looking for a patient person who will let me move at my own pace while I get used to my new life!
The secret to my heart? Wet food and playtime! I absolutely live for yummy wet food. Once I see that wet food bowl, I might even show you a little happy dance and shakey tail! When I’m not eating, I love to show off my playful side with feather wands or mousey toys. I’m at that perfect age where I’m past the kitten craziness but still have plenty of energy to keep you entertained! If you have a lot of love to give, I’d love to be the one to fill your life with lots of purrs!
I am looking forward to a life where I’m the center of someone’s world. I’m a gentle, sensitive kitty and I'm learning a home can be the the kitty I want to be. I can still be shy but everyday I get a little braver and show more of my sweet purrrrsonality!

I get along with other kitties, especially kitties that like to play, so if you already have a kitty we could be best friends (with the proper introduction period). Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't give a chance, a helping hand at getting a forever home. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them.
