Allow me to introduce myself: Augusta. A name of distinction, if I do say so myself. And I must admit, I think it suits me beautifully.

I'm a gorgeous medium-haired gray tabby with lovely white feet and a sweet white bib. I have the beauty, the elegance, and - naturally - the personality to match.

I came to the shelter through a TNR partner, and while this new environment is still a little unfamiliar, I'm getting more comfortable every day. I'm a friendly girl who enjoys good company and is discovering that there are plenty of kind humans here willing to make me feel welcome.

And do you know what I particularly enjoy? Pets and chin scratches. Oh, yes. Those are definitely the way to my heart. Give me some affection, spend a little time with me, and you'll see just how sweet and lovable I am.

I'm still finding my confidence in this new setting, but I'm showing everyone what an adorable companion I can be. I think once I have a home of my own, with people who love me and plenty of gentle attention, I'll truly blossom.

I'm Augusta, after all. A little regal, a lot beautiful, and very much deserving of a kingdom - preferably one with soft beds, loving people, and an endless supply of chin scratches.
