About Ozzy

Ozzy is a sweet, loving young cat who has already overcome a difficult start in life. He was rescued from a car wash at just five weeks old on a 100-degree day. His rescuers soon noticed that he had difficulty walking straight and jumping onto furniture. He was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, commonly known as “wobbly cat syndrome,” which his family believes may have resulted from heat stroke.

Despite his challenges, Ozzy has a wonderful personality! He loves attention, food, cuddles, and spending time with the people he trusts. He deserves a home where he can feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

Ozzy's current family loves him very much, but their home presents some challenges due to stairs and having a one-year-old child. They are hoping to find a home that can better accommodate Ozzy's needs and provide him with plenty of time, affection, and patience.

Because of his condition, Ozzy will benefit from a safe environment adapted to his mobility needs. His litter box habits will also need consideration, as he does not consistently use the litter box.

Ozzy is looking for a special person or family who understands that he may need a little extra help navigating the world. In return, he has plenty of love and cuddles to give. His family is making this difficult decision out of love and a desire to find him the best possible home.
