Diesel - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Midland, Michigan

Neutered Male
9 Years Old
90 Pounds
$75

Don't let the number 9 fool you — Diesel still has plenty of pep in his step! This handsome brindle gentleman is a neutered mixed-breed boy with a goofy personality, a happy-go-lucky attitude, and lots of love to give.

Diesel is a friendly, sweet older guy who seems to find joy in life and isn't shy about showing it. He's always happy to make a new friend and may even give you a few kisses to let you know just how much he likes you! This lovable goofball still has plenty of energy and is ready to enjoy life's adventures with his new family.

The good news? Diesel is good with other dogs, crate trained, and housebroken! He does pull on a leash, so he'll appreciate a little practice with his walking manners.

If you're looking for a sweet senior sidekick who's equal parts goofy, affectionate, and full of life, Diesel could be the perfect addition to your family. He's ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home, a loving family, and plenty of opportunities to share those kisses!

Could Diesel be the happy, tail-wagging companion you've been looking for?

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
