Meet Autumn Joy!

Autumn Joy is a gorgeous young girl with a gentle heart who is slowly learning that people can be pretty wonderful. She is very shy at first, but underneath those nerves is an incredibly sweet kitty whose personality is starting to shine more each day.

The way to Autumn Joy's heart? Patience, yummy treats, and a feline friend! She absolutely loves other cats and takes a lot of comfort and confidence from having them around. As she begins to trust her people, she enjoys being pet and is showing us just how sweet she can be. She does prefer to keep all four paws on the ground, though, and is not comfortable being picked up.

Autumn Joy is looking for a quiet, cat-savvy home with a friendly feline sibling who can help her feel safe and show her the ropes. Her new family will need to be patient and allow her to build a relationship at her own pace. We hope that with time she'll form a wonderful bond with her people, but she will likely always be a girl who prefers to hide away when visitors come over-and that's perfectly okay!

She's still settling in, but Autumn Joy is beginning to show us that she may be ready to meet the special people willing to give a shy girl a chance. We're hoping she'll be ready to head home next week - just in time for a cozy fall with her family!
