Asiago - Shiba Inu and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

Meet Asiago!

Asiago is an adorable, sweet girl who is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy New England home of her very own!

She's friendly with people, does well with other dogs, and has a really nice energy level-happy to get out and enjoy some sun, but also ready to settle in and enjoy the comforts of home. We can already picture her joining her family for walks on crisp fall days and then curling up somewhere warm and cozy afterward.

Asiago can be a little nervous with some handling and appreciates people who will give her a little space until she is comfortable. Because of this, she's looking for a home with adults or teens who can give her the patience she deserves.

Sweet, beautiful, and just the right amount of cheesy , Asiago is ready to find her people and settle into her happily ever after. Come meet this special girl-you may just fall in love!

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.

The Shiba Inu is a small to medium sized dog breed known for its fox like appearance, with a curled tail and upright ears. Originating from Japan, Shiba Inus are independent, alert, and spirited dogs. They are loyal to their families but can be reserved around strangers. Recognized for their bold and confident nature, Shiba Inus require consistent training and socialization to thrive. With a thick double coat and a distinct red, sesame, or black and tan coloration, Shiba Inus are charming companions for active individuals or families.
