Meet Mikey, a tiny guy looking for a cozy retirement home where he can be spoiled like the little prince he is. He may have a spicy side with new people, but give him some time (and treats!) and he'll become your devoted little shadow.

Once comfortable, Mikey loves sitting on your lap and would make an awesome work-from-home buddy, happily settling beside you. He loves cozy blankets, carrying around stuffed toys, car rides, walks, sunny spots, and being close to his person. He's currently in foster and has done well with calm dogs and dog-savvy cats with gradual introductions.

Mikey prefers affection and handling on his own terms, so he is looking for an adult-only home. He also likes his space around food and high-value treats.

Being alone is still tough for him, so a home where someone is around often would be ideal while he continues building confidence with alone time.

Mikey has cataracts, including a mature cataract in one eye, so his adopters should be prepared for ongoing veterinary monitoring and some vision loss as he ages
