Spider - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

Meet Spider! This handsome little tuxedo boy gets his name from his incredible climbing skills and curious nature. Whether he's scaling a scratching post, stalking a feather wand, or leaping into the air after phantom bugs, Spider is constantly finding new ways to entertain and amaze.

Don't let his playful antics fool you, though-Spider is also a giant sweetie. After a long session of kitten acrobatics, he loves nothing more than curling up right next to you (or on your shoulders!) and spinning his loud, cozy purr.

Spider is outgoing and sociable! He would do great with adults, gentle kids, or other friendly pets. He has plenty of kitten energy, so going home with a sibling or having another feline playmate to wrestle and zoom around with would be a huge plus.

Spider is neutered and up-to-date on his FVRCP and Rabies vaccines.

Submit an adoption application today to meet Spider and bring him home!

Spider is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet them! No appointment necessary.
