ARTHUR saura certainement vous charmer puisqu'il possède un attrayant pelage tuxedo avec quatre pattes blanches, un adorable petit nez noir et d'incroyables yeux verts vifs et pétillants. Le chéri à moustaches vous regarde avec un mélange de curiosité, d'étonnement et de fascination...quel chat attachant !
ARTHUR a été abandonné au refuge à la mi-mars. Trouvé errant, des gens l'ont gardé pour environ 2 mois chez eux mais comme le beau garçon n'était pas stérilisé, il s'adaptait mal à son nouvel environnement et aux autres chats. Nous ne connaissons rien de son passé mais il a certainement appartenu à quelqu'un puisqu'ARTHUR est vraiment très à l'aise et affectueux auprès des humains. Selon l'évaluation du vétérinaire, monsieur est en excellente santé et est âgé d'environ 3 ans.
ARTHUR est un minet modérément actif, confiant et sociable. À son arrivée au refuge, il était contrarié d'être limité à une cage mais s'est démontré patient et coopératif ; il semblait soulagé d'être devenu un chat exclusivement d'intérieur, bien nourri et à la chaleur. Le brave félin a ensuite été transféré dans la salle commune (ou vivent une vingtaine d'autres chats). ARTHUR était très content de retrouver plus de liberté cependant notre gentleman poilu ne se mêle pas trop à ses congénères préférant relaxer dans son petit panier ou le cubicule de son arbre à chats. De plus, on a remarqué que les rencontres avec certains de ses colocataires sont plus stressantes pour lui. ARTHUR, que l'on croyait serait dominant envers ses congénères basé sur les commentaires des gens qui nous l'ont amené, s'avère plutôt être la cible de mâles plus 'séniors' dans la hiérarchie...
ARTHUR vient souvent à notre rencontre quand on entre dans la pièce et il tourne autour de nous, pour se frotter amicalement. Il accepte avec grand plaisir nos caresses et gratouilles, se tortillant de bonheur et nous donnant des petits coups de tête pour nous encourager à le flatter davantage ; on entend alors un doux ronronnement de satisfaction. ARTHUR ne semble pas beaucoup apprécier être pris dans les bras - pour le moment du moins - et il faut le manipuler avec respect. Le divertissant ARTHUR aime courir après les balles, attaquer les souris en peluche et fouetter les "bébelles" au bout d'un bâton - il joue seul ou sera ravi de s'amuser avec vous. S'il devient surexcité/surstimulé toutefois, il pourrait vous mordiller les mains. Gourmand, ARTHUR adore les succulentes gâteries et s'en lèche les babines - il vous suivra partout pour en quémander davantage. Nous croyons qu'une fois que ce séduisant félin se retrouvera dans une demeure plus sereine, son niveau de stress diminuera et vous pourrez découvrir à quel point il est de plaisante compagnie et très aimable !
Nous recherchons des adoptants chaleureux et bienveillants qui dorloterons à profusion ce merveilleux trésor. ARTHUR serait heureux dans une maisonnée sans jeunes enfants et idéalement sans autres chats. Si vous avez déjà un autre chat à la maison, nous recommandons fortement de faire des introductions très graduelles pour que cette cohabitation soit un succès. Comme notre gentil gaillard a connu d'énormes bouleversements dans sa vie récemment, les adoptants d'ARTHUR devront lui donner tout le temps nécessaire à son acclimatation.
L'épatant ARTHUR attend patiemment qu'une nouvelle vie commence pour lui, entouré d'amour et de bons soins. Vous ne regretterez pas de lui donner sa chance d'être votre ami car il vous comblera de bonheur assurément !

ARTHUR is sure to win your heart with his striking tuxedo coat, four white paws, an adorable little black nose, and those incredible bright green eyes that sparkle with life. This whiskered sweetheart looks at you with a mix of curiosity, wonder, and fascination… he’s truly an endearing boy.
ARTHUR was surrendered to the shelter in mid‑March. He had been found wandering outdoors, and some kind people kept him for about two months. But because this handsome fellow wasn’t neutered at the time, he struggled to adapt to their home and to the other cats. We don’t know anything about his past, but he clearly belonged to someone before — ARTHUR is very comfortable with humans and quite affectionate. According to our veterinarian, he is in excellent health and approximately three years old.
ARTHUR is a moderately active, confident, and social kitty. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was upset about being confined to a cage, yet he remained patient and cooperative; he seemed relieved to finally be an indoor cat, warm, safe, and well fed. He was later moved into the communal room, where about twenty other cats live. ARTHUR was thrilled to have more freedom, but our furry gentleman doesn’t mingle much with his feline roommates. He prefers relaxing in his cozy basket or curled up in the cubby of the cat tree. We’ve also noticed that interactions with certain cats can be stressful for him. Although we thought (based on the comments from the people who brought him) he would be dominant with the other cats, ARTHUR actually tends to be the target of more “senior” males in the hierarchy.
ARTHUR often comes to greet us when we enter the room, circling around our legs and rubbing against us in a friendly way. He happily accepts pets and head scratches, wriggling with delight and giving gentle bumps to encourage us to keep going — and that’s when you hear his soft, contented purr. ARTHUR doesn’t seem to enjoy being picked up too much — at least for now — so he should be handled respectfully. Entertaining ARTHUR loves chasing balls, pouncing on plush mice, and batting at toys on a wand. He plays on his own or will gladly have fun with you. If he becomes overly excited or overstimulated, he may give nibbles to your hands. ARTHUR is also a foodie who adores tasty treats and will lick his lips with enthusiasm — he’ll follow you everywhere hoping for more. We believe that once this lovely feline settles into a calmer home, his stress level will decrease and you’ll discover just how delightful and lovable he truly is.
We are looking for warm, caring adopters who will shower this wonderful treasure with affection. ARTHUR would be happiest in a home without young children and ideally without other cats. If you already have a resident cat, we strongly recommend very slow, structured introductions to ensure a successful transition. Since our captivating chap has experienced major upheavals & changes recently, ARTHUR’s adopters will need to give him all the time he needs to adjust.
