PLATON est un formidable félin ! Avec son joli pelage tabby, son visage noble et ses yeux verts perçants remplis de sagesse et de bonté, ce coeur sur 4 pattes a vraiment tout pour plaire. Non seulement est-il ravissant...mais il possède aussi un très agréable tempérament. PLATON aura 11 ans le 1er juin 2026 et est en bonne santé. Ce "sénior" est un peu rondelet mais vaque à ses occupations et se toilette sans problème. Pour maintenir sa santé et assurer sa longévité, monsieur devra dorénavant vivre exclusivement à l'intérieur et manger une nourriture de qualité pour chats matures.
Le charmant garçon a été emmené au refuge le 2 avril dernier avec son copain DEMOSTHÈNE #10823 suite au déménagement en CHLSD de leur humain. Les trois vivaient heureux ensemble depuis quelques années. Cette personne semblait bien aimer les personnages historiques de la Grèce antique 🙂
Depuis son arrivée et malgré les immenses bouleversements dans sa vie, PLATON est manifestement très affectueux et sociable. Le petit chéri apprécie grandement toute interaction avec les gens et il est super content de simplement vous tenir compagnie. Le séduisant minet a une personnalité extrêmement attachante - affable et intelligent. Calme et docile, une merveilleuse douceur émane de son être, laquelle vous touchera profondément.
PLATON adore les câlins, les bisous ainsi que toute l'attention qu'on lui donne. Le gentil tigré aime beaucoup se faire brosser et il ronronne de bonheur. On peut facilement le manipuler et le prendre dans nos bras, mais ce qu'il préfère c'est de s'installer sur vos genoux ou d'être collé sur vous pendant que vous regardez la télévision, lisez ou travaillez à l'ordinateur. On ne peut pas demander un meilleur compagnon !
PLATON est un gentleman poilu qui appréciera la douceur, la paix et la sécurité d'un foyer serein et chaleureux - en ce moment, il est passablement stressé au refuge alors son appétit est faible, ce qui nous inquiète un peu. Quand on lui accorde du temps pour se promener hors de sa cage pour se dégourdir, PLATON préfère rester tranquille et s'installe paisiblement près des employés et/ou près de la fenêtre pour observer ce qui se passe dehors. Le beau moustachu est à l'âge qu'il préfère se prélasser et faire les longues siestes que de s'exciter et courir partout ! Dans sa nouvelle demeure. PLATON voudra dormir collé sur vous si vous l'invitez à vous rejoindre au lit.
Nous recherchons des adoptants bienveillants et attentionnés pour ce chat épatant, d'autant plus que le gentil gaillard apprécie la présence des humains. Ainsi, l'aimable PLATON devrait pouvoir s'acclimater à sa nouvelle famille assez rapidement. Nous croyons que PLATON pourrait cohabiter avec des grands enfants (plus de 8 ans) respectueux des animaux. Notre sympathique bonhomme pourra s'adapter comme seul animal au foyer, en autant qu'il n'est pas laissé tout seul trop longtemps car dans la passé; il était inséparable de son maître. Sinon, il serait ravi de vivre à nouveau avec son ami de longue date, DEMOSTHÈNE qui est aussi disponible pour adoption. Si vous avez déjà un chat à la maison, comme PLATON est tolérant et plutôt soumis cela pourrait fonctionner mais il faudra prévoir des introductions graduelles pour assurer le succès de la cohabitation.
L'extraordinaire PLATON a tant d’amour à donner et n’attend que vous...pour vivre une retraite douce et sécurisante. Ce compagnon exceptionnel saura vous remercier chaque jour avec ses câlins, sa loyauté et ses ronrons pleins de reconnaissance.

PLATON is a truly remarkable feline. With his handsome tabby coat, noble face, and piercing green eyes filled with wisdom and kindness, this snuggle bug has everything to win your heart. Not only is he gorgeous, but he also has a truly pleasant temperament. PLATON will turn 11 on June 1st, 2026, and is in good health. This “Senior” is a bit plump, but he goes about his day normally and grooms himself without any issues. To maintain his health and ensure a long, comfortable life, he must now live strictly indoors and be fed a quality diet for mature cats.
This charming boy arrived at the shelter on April 2nd with his companion DEMOSTHÈNE #10823 after their guardian moved into a long‑term care facility. The three of them had lived happily together for several years. Their human clearly had a fondness for historical figures from ancient Greece :)
Since his arrival — and despite the enormous upheavals in his life — PLATON has shown himself to be deeply affectionate and very sociable. This little darling greatly enjoys interacting with people and is simply delighted to keep you company. He has an extremely endearing personality: friendly, intelligent, calm, and easygoing. A wonderful kindness radiates from his being which will profoundly move you.
PLATON loves cuddles, kisses, and any attention you offer him. This gentle tabby enjoys being brushed and purrs with contentment. He is easy to handle and can be picked up, though what he prefers most is settling onto your lap or curling up against you while you watch TV, read, or work at the computer. You truly couldn’t ask for a better companion.
PLATON is a furry gentleman who will thrive in a peaceful, warm, and reassuring home. At the moment, he is quite stressed at the shelter, and his appetite is low, which worries us a little. When given time outside his cage to stretch his legs, PLATON prefers to stay calm and settles quietly near staff members or by the window to watch what’s happening outside. At his age, our lovely fellow much prefers lounging and taking long naps over running around & zany zoomies ! In his future home, PLATON will likely want to sleep close to you if you invite him onto the bed.
We are looking for kind and attentive adopters for this terrific cat, especially since this sweet chap truly enjoys human presence. Sweet PLATON should adapt to his new family fairly quickly. We believe he could live with respectful older children (8 years old +). He can thrive as the only pet in the home, as long as he is not left alone for long periods — he was inseparable from his previous guardian. Otherwise, he would be thrilled to be adopted together with his long‑time friend DEMOSTHÈNE, who is also available. If you already have a cat at home, PLATON’s tolerant and rather submissive nature could make cohabitation possible, but gradual introductions will be essential for a success cohabitation.
The extraordinary PLATON has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the chance to enjoy a serene & secure retirement. This exceptional companion will thank you every day with his cuddles, loyalty, and loving, grateful purrs.
