Meet Cookie!

Don't let her tiny size fool you. Cookie has a big personality tucked into a little Chihuahua mix body. At around one year old, this sweet girl will steal your heart with her adorable underbite and soulful eyes.

Cookie is looking for a very special home. She can be anxious in new situations and needs a calm, predictable environment where she can feel safe. She's not the kind of dog who will instantly trust everyone she meets, but if you're willing to be patient and let her move at her own pace, you'll earn the loyalty and love of an incredible little companion.

Because of her size (only 7 lbs!) and anxiety, Cookie is not a good fit for a home with children. She is looking for a quiet, stable home with someone who understands tiny dogs and respects their boundaries. Slow introductions, gentle handling, and consistency will help this little girl blossom. She's currently in a foster home with other dogs up to 15lbs and doing well.

Once submitted, we will reach out to approved applicants by phone. We may also suggest other amazing dogs in our care who could be a great fit for your home.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $500 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix. It is a guess based on physical characteristics and any known history.
