Harlow Houdini Hovercraft - Pigeon Bird for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Harlow Hovercraft Houdini lives up to every part of his name.

Harlows story starts as an egg on a cold Chicago sidewalk. His kind finder wound up taking him home, after failing to find a nest, and purchasing an incubator. A few weeks later, Harlow hatched and GLPR volunteers jumped into action to place this newborn squab with a foster parent couple. Harlow was adopted by Kewpie and Kimchi (a fabulous couple also up for adoption!) who were delighted to live our their parenting dreams!

Now, fully grown, Harlow has moved into the pigeon apartment above his parents, in their foster home, and is excited to start making his own way in the world. Stubborn, curious and incredibly smart, Harlow loves to adventure outside his cage, safely inside his Foster Home, and particularly loves to swoop and hover in the air, showing off his superior flying skills before finding the highest perch for a cozy nap.

He is also a little bit of an escape artist, managing to figure out how to open his cage door if its not properly latched shut and, on occasion, managing to undo and wiggle out of his pigeon pants like some kind of feathered magician. Harlow promises to bring lots of laughter, joy, playtime, and fun to his very fortunate forever home!
