Meet Kumiko - a big beautiful fantail found strutting the sidewalks of Ukrainian Village. Given his undeniable star quality, it was immediately clear that this handsome bird was no ordinary city pigeon and was brought to GLPR.

With a name that translates to “timeless elegance” or “enduring beauty,” Kumiko absolutely knows he’s handsome and never misses an opportunity to strike a pose, usually with one leg dramatically propped up on the nearest object like the star of his own photoshoot. When he’s not modeling, he enjoys waddling around exploring with enthusiastic little head-bobs that make him look more like a curious chicken than a pigeon.

Despite his glamorous appearance, Kumiko is wonderfully calm, even-tempered, and easygoing. He’s the perfect mix of goofy charm and gentle sophistication!
