Elric - Pigeon Bird for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

That little fluffball is Elric. The full name is Edward Elric, but he doesn’t insist on that. ;-) Like his Anime counterpart, he had to endure some tough fights early on in his life and also didn’t walk away unscathed. His right wing may be gone, but his little heart is still left and in the right place. The important part is not that Elric went down, but that he got up again and reclaimed his life!

At first glance he will come across as a little shy and introverted around humans, but can we really blame the little guy for that after so much trauma? Who can say what exactly happened: maybe he was trapped or injured. Maybe he had a bad experience with humans: but trust can rebuild on a fresh start.

Our little hero may never fly again, but he still has a full heart to give to a caring and patient human. So why not team up and wing it together?
