Meet Cyndi Lopear, a spirited little lady with a big personality and a flair for interior design! This clever bunny loves head pets, happily accepts her eye drops like a champ, and absolutely adores having her eyes gently wiped with a warm washcloth (she even purrs!).
Cyndi keeps life entertaining by tossing around her pellet bowl and rearranging her furniture to her exact specifications. She prefers affection on her own terms and does not enjoy being picked up or overly handled, but once she trusts you, she'll show her sweet and quirky side.
Cyndi came to SDHRS after being found as a stray and brought to a local shelter before making her way to us. She currently has ulcers in both eyes that are being treated and will require lifelong maintenance care. Because of this, she's looking for a patient and compassionate adopter who can continue her treatment routine and appreciate her unique personality.
If you're looking for a bunny with character, charm, and a touch of diva energy, Cyndi Lopear may be your perfect match!
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. The virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit. Please make sure to vaccinate your rabbits every year. For more information, please visit our website at: https://sandiegorabbits.org/education/rhdv
