Lionhead Rabbits Available for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Peter (AKA Pepe, because he can be a little zany) wasn't eating well at the local shelter, so they asked us to step in and give him a quiet foster home instead. He's now eating great, properly neutered, and ready for a new family!

While some new noises do spook him, Peter has otherwise been adventurous, happy to explore even on hard floors. He has not been destructive, but will nibble out of curiousity. When he's done making the rounds, Peter likes to find a comfy spot to flop, and is very affectionate. He warms up to new people pretty quickly, too — just offer treats and pets.

We haven't tried matching Peter with any other buns just yet — so he may be open to a friend. Peter might even do well with a mellow cat based on some previous exposure.
