Bowtie is settling into foster care and we’re slowly learning more about this tiny old man.

First, Bowtie is HATES his current water bowl. We don’t know what happened between him and Big Water Bowl in a past life, but if his isn’t securely anchored down, he will immediately throw it. With how far he can move it, we just know he’d be good at disc golf.

His foster has also noticed that Bowtie doesn’t react to much unless a sound is really loud or something touches him. He may have some hearing loss, or he may simply feel crummy enough right now that he’s not very reactive. We’ll have a better idea once he’s feeling better.

He does, however, have a fantastic appetite for greens and pellets. Hay, not so much.

For now, Bowtie is still our saddest little old man. But he’s sweet, he’s eating, he’s healing, and he has a foster completely obsessed with making him comfortable.

Soon enough, we’re hoping the only thing Bowtie has left to be upset about is his water bowl being bolted to the floor.
