Budgie and Eliza - New Zealand Rabbit for Adoption in Saint Charles, Missouri

Budgie and Eliza have decided that being adoptable rabbits isn’t enough. They’re now local celebrities with a very demanding public appearance schedule.

Bunny Buddies? Attended. Painting with Bunnies? Obviously. K9 County Fair? Clear the calendar, the buns have an engagement.

Their foster says both are easily held and will happily hang out in your lap, which is particularly impressive considering where their stories started.

Eliza was dumped outside.

Budgie lived in a fish tank.

And now they’re out here networking.

Personality wise, they’re the perfect little duo.

Eliza is basically a cat who accidentally got assigned a rabbit body. She enjoys affection, but she has standards and would like everyone to conduct themselves accordingly. Budgie, meanwhile, would crawl directly into your bloodstream if that were an available snuggling option. Hold him. Love him. Tell him he’s a cutie patootie.

You would never look at these guys now and guess how their lives began. They’re confident buns who have discovered that people can actually be pretty great.

Unfortunately, their increasingly successful careers have not yet resulted in someone taking them home.
