Bunny Rabbit and Mini Rex Rabbits Available for Adoption in Fairbanks, Alaska

Mike (A136673) is a 1-year-and-8-month-old neutered male rabbit who weighed 8.56 pounds on intake! 05/13/26 Mike is back at the shelter due to no fault of his own. He is a bit chunky and would benefit from losing a little weight. It is important that he has unlimited access to hay for his teeth and gi health, a measured amount of pellet food, and fresh greens daily. Providing Mike with plenty of bunny-appropriate chews is important! He should also have space to hop around and explore (but it is important to bunny-proof that area first). If you are interested in meeting Mike, please let us know! 11/22/24 This little band of bunnies came to the shelter via the overnight dropoff kennels without complete paperwork, requiring they be held as strays for 3 business days before being able to move along to their forever homes. If you are not familiar with bunny care, we highly recommend doing some research prior to adopting. Bunnies require free access to plenty of hay in addition to their regular pelleted food that you can buy at the pet store. They should also have limited amounts of fresh greens and veggies to really round out their diet! It is also very important that rabbits have plenty of appropriate chew toys to keep their teeth healthy, and they love to chew! So make sure you keep any items that you don't want chewed up and away from their little chompers! These young rabbits have not been super keen on being held while at the shelter, but they have not seemed to mind attention.
