Meet Ozzie! Ozzie (2 years old, 11 lbs.) is a sweet terrier mix who is still learning about the world and building his trust in humans.

Ozzie is very comfortable and affectionate with the people he trusts. Once he feels safe, he loves pets, belly rubs, and happily accepts any treats offered-the best way to win him over is definitely with treats! He becomes especially confident in familiar environments and truly bonds with his people, often preferring their companionship above all else.

He would do best in a calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who understands his needs and is willing to move at his pace. In new environments, he may need a little time to adjust, but with patience and consistency, he settles in well.

While Ozzie does not require another dog in the home, he can coexist with other dogs. He tends to do best with calmer companions, and introductions should be handled thoughtfully. A required in-person meet and greet is necessary to ensure a proper fit for both the canines and the family.

Ozzie walks wonderfully on a leash, especially when he is with his trusted people. Due to his sensitive nature, Ozzie would do best in a calm, adult-only home where he can feel safe and continue to build confidence.
