Hi, I’m Mia — a 4-year-old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix weighing about 9 pounds, and I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. If you’re searching for a tiny best friend whose favorite place in the world is your lap, then your search might just be over. I absolutely love being close to my people and would happily spend my days soaking up cuddles, getting scratches, and taking cozy naps right beside you.

While I do enjoy running around the yard and playing with other dogs from time to time, I’m definitely more of a people-loving girl than a social butterfly with my canine friends. I get along well with other dogs, but if given the choice, I’d rather be curled up with my favorite human than chasing toys around the yard. My calm, affectionate personality makes me the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving little shadow to keep them company throughout the day.

I’m fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines and preventatives. I have not been cat tested yet, but that can be done upon request. Now all I need is a forever family to share my cuddles, naps, and unconditional love with.
