Poodle Dogs Available for Adoption in Foley, Alabama

Hi, I’m Lainey — a 1-year-old Standard Poodle weighing about 45 pounds, and I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. When I first arrived in, I was pretty scared and unsure of everything around me. I would shy away at first, just trying to figure out if I was safe.

But it didn’t take long for me to realize I was finally in a better place. After about 5–10 minutes, I started to relax, and now I absolutely light up when I see people coming my way. I’ve really started to come out of my shell and enjoy attention, affection, and being around my humans. The kennel staff says I’m a total sweetheart, and I’m learning every day that people can be kind and safe.

I do amazing with other dogs and really enjoy their company. I also walk very well on a leash, like I’ve been on walks before and already understand how nice it is to get out and explore the world a little bit. I’ve got a wonderful personality just waiting to shine in the right home.

I haven’t been cat tested yet, but that can be done upon request. I’m spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and ready for a forever home where I can keep gaining confidence and finally feel like I belong.
