Milo - Yellow Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania

Say hello to Milo, a handsome 9-month-old Lab Retriever who is looking for a family willing to embrace all the fun (and a little craziness!) that comes with a young, energetic pup!

Milo was surrendered because he was considered “too much” by his prior owner. But we think he just needs the right people to help him channel all that youthful enthusiasm!

Milo is still learning his manners and figuring out how to navigate the world. He’ll need a family committed to training, exercise, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement. Like most Labs, he is treat motivated and eager to please. He has lots of energy to burn and will do best with people who are ready to keep his body moving and his mind busy!

A few things to know about Milo:
- He previously lived with another dog.
- He enjoys his training sessions with our volunteers
-He also loves to play tug with the rope toy and will tire you out before he tires out!

Milo isn't looking for a family who expects perfection. He's looking for someone who sees his potential, is willing to put in the work, and will give him the guidance he needs to grow into an amazing companion.

Being “too much” for one family doesn't mean he's too much for everyone. Maybe he’s just waiting for his people — the ones who will love his goofy puppy antics and help him become the best dog he can be!

Milo was previously adopted and within days put on several strong behavioral meds instead of providing him with appropriate exercise. The medication is known to have a side effect of causing aggressive behavior and for Milo, it caused escalated nipping. We are thankful to have been able to get him back, immediately discounting all medication and since then confirming what we already knew - that he is a very good, busy-body and active lab puppy that just needs appropriate exercise and typical puppy training (as confirmed by his foster and trainer report).

He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and 4DX tested.
