**MEET GUILLERMO!**

This little guy has managed to win quite a few hearts in his **two whole days of being a New Yorker!**

Our very good friend V took her entire day to hop on a flight and bring this handsome little man all the way to us.

Guillermo is a **14-lb Westie mix** who just turned **7 years old** a few days ago, and apparently he decided that his introduction to New York would be less “Who are all these people?” and more **“Excellent. I shall now befriend every single one of them.”**

His journey to NY was a bit of a relay race... because apparently getting a dog from Point A to Point B is NEVER as simple as getting in a car.

V flew with him all the way here
Maggie, one of our alumni, picked him up
Another friend took him in for a few hours
One of our adopters hosted him overnight
Said adopter drove him to yet another adopter, who is keeping him for the weekend
And then another adopter will get him Sunday to foster

That is a **LOT of people, a LOT of handoffs and a LOT of opportunities to lose your mind** in just 48 hours.

Guillermo?

Could not care less.

Because every. single. person. who has encountered this little guy has described him **exactly the same way:**

Happy
Sweet

Basically, Guillermo has spent the last two days being passed around like a very adorable potato and has apparently decided that **all humans are good humans.**

He was amazing on the flight, completely unfazed by all the traveling, and has handled every new person, new place and new adventure like he's been doing this his entire life.

At 7 years old, this little man is ready for the good stuff. A comfy couch. A family of his own. Someone to love him for the rest of his days.

And after everything he's already done in just 48 hours, we think he's earned it.

Now he just needs to find the one stop on this journey that we hope is **permanent.**
