# Meet Salsa

Salsa is an absolute sweetheart with soulful blue eyes and a playful little personality all her own.

She's happy to join in the fun and will even give you a tiny growl that seems to say, "Hey...are you paying attention to me?" But Salsa is also perfectly content to decide when playtime is over. While her sister Canela may still be running around tossing toys and causing mischief, Salsa is more of a, "Okay, I've had enough. I'm just going to pass out right here" kind of girl.

And when she's ready for a nap, she wants to be close to her human. This morning, she climbed behind my neck on the couch, burrowed into my hair, and settled in for a nap. She stayed tucked there until I woke her up.

That's Salsa—sweet, affectionate, playful, and happiest when she's snuggled up with her person.

Her soulful blue eyes will catch you first, but it's her gentle, loving personality that will steal your heart.


**** Pre-Adoption Is Open!

Salsa and Canela are now 5 weeks old, and we're officially accepting adoption applications! Two families will be selected for **pre-adoption**, giving them the special opportunity to meet, bond with, and get to know their puppy before she's ready to go home. The girls will be ready to head off to their forever homes in approximately 3 weeks. If one of these little girls has stolen your heart, don't wait to apply!
