Fostered in Windsor

Mathilda is a 2-year-old, 8 lb sweetheart with a gentle soul and the most endearing personality. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but with time, patience, and a calm environment, she truly blossoms and forms a deep bond with her person.

This lovely girl is looking for a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. Because she can be vocal when frightened, she would do best in a detached home rather than a condo or apartment setting. She would also prefer a home with children over the age of 10 who can respect her need for space as she builds confidence.

Mathilda is house trained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She gets along well with other small dogs and may even benefit from having a calm canine companion to help show her the ropes. She hasn’t met a cat yet, but based on her gentle nature, she would likely do well with a proper introduction.

She’s still learning about toys and the joys of play, which makes watching her discover new things especially rewarding. She’s also working on her leash training—right now, walks are a mix of excitement and nervous curiosity as she explores this big new world.

One of Mathilda’s most charming quirks is her adorable little dance when she gets excited—it’s guaranteed to make you smile every time. She would love a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and build confidence at her own pace.

Young adult 1 year - 5 years $650
Adults 6 years - 9 years $575
Seniors 10+ $325

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter .
*EXCLUDING UNALTERED PUPPIES UNDER A YEAR.

The adoption fee also includes, at a minimum, vaccinations, de-worming, I.D. tag and microchip insertion. We gratefully accept any amount above the adoption fee as a donation used to support our mission to save as many dogs as possible.
