At just 2 years old and 28 pounds, Sprinkles, a Terrier mix, is the perfect little companion with adorable short legs and a big, playful spirit. She's the kind of pup who can turn any ordinary day into something fun--whether she's tossing her toys in the air, happily chewing on a bone, or doing her signature zoomies around the yard. Even better, she absolutely loves having dog friends (big or small!) to share her adventures with.

Sprinkles is potty trained and already making great progress with her basic training. She's eager to learn and truly shines when given gentle guidance and encouragement. At bedtime, her playful energy melts away, and she becomes the sweetest little cuddle bug--quietly curling up above her human's head and sleeping peacefully through the night.

This special girl is deaf, but don't let that fool you--Sprinkles is incredibly smart and is already picking up hand signals like a pro. Her deafness is just one small part of who she is, and in many ways, it makes her even more unique--she isn't bothered by loud noises and tends to be a calm, quiet presence in the home.

Sprinkles is just beginning to discover what it means to feel safe, loved, and truly at home. Because of her past, she'll thrive with a patient, kind family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to continue building confidence. She will need a home with at least one other confident, friendly dog who can help show her the ropes and continue teaching her that the world is a safe and fun place. She takes comfort in her canine companions and truly blossoms when she has a buddy by her side.

A fenced yard would be ideal for Sprinkles so she can explore, play, and zoom around safely while continuing to grow more confident in her surroundings.
