Dixie - Terrier and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Savannah, Georgia
DIXIE
Terrier, Chihuahua
🇺🇸
Savannah, Georgia
August 27th
female, small, adult
DESCRIPTION
Talk about nick of time! When Dixie came to rescue on July 3rd, we knew that she was planning to have her last ever litter of puppies soon! After some flea control, a bath, and a few good meals in foster, Dixie delivered four healthy puppies on July 5th! Now, she's weaned her babies and is ready to resume her life as a single lady. Hard to know what breeds make of Dixie's DNA pool, but she is small (less than 15 lbs) and probably around 4 yo. She has fit in well in her foster home, although she can be a little bossy with the existing pack, making sure she gets her share of treats, affection, the bed and that no one bothers her babies. She seems to be mostly housebroken. She is very friendly with adults, not sure how she would be with kids or cats.
