MEET LUCA FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING!

Meet Luca, a spunky 7–8 month old golden blonde Terrier mix with a huge personality and an even bigger heart! This handsome boy is now about 28 lbs and ready to find his forever family.

Luca and his sister Lacy had an incredibly rough start in DeQueen, Arkansas. A rescue friend went to the property to check on another dog and discovered the two puppies. Thankfully, their owner agreed to let them go into foster care and that decision changed their lives forever.

When Luca arrived in foster care, the condition he was in was heartbreaking. He and Lacy were severely underweight and suffering from one of the worst flea infestations their foster had ever seen. There were hundreds upon hundreds of fleas covering their little bodies.

After hour long baths, treatment, deworming, careful feeding and LOTS of love, these babies began to come back to life.

And Luca didn’t just survive he THRIVED!

Today, Luca is a happy, healthy looking, playful boy who has gained weight, grown his beautiful coat back and discovered just how much fun life can be.
