Meet Mitch! This handsome scruffy terrier mix is around 8 months old and weighs roughly 35 lbs. He is a wonderful mix of playful energy and cute cuddle buddy who desperately wants to be part of the family.

Mitch had a bit of a rocky start, landing himself in a very poor outcome rural shelter as a stray with the clock ticking and almost out of time but he caught the eye of a CAWS volunteer and he was one of the fortunate ones to make it safely out. Now he is house-trained, crate-trained, is doing well with basic commands, and walks well on a leash. He LOVES meeting people and playing with other dogs and is also good with dog savvy cats, although he might scare a cat who wasn't braced for his playful energy. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and well-rounded addition to your family, then Mitch just might be your perfect match.

Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
