Meet Bernard ("Bernie")!
This little guy is ready to fetch his way right into your heart!
Bernie is a 6-month-old neutered terrier mix who weighs just 11 pounds (and may still have a little growing left to do). Found as a stray, Bernie is learning all about the comforts of indoor life and what it means to be part of a family.
He's making great progress with potty training and is continuing to build confidence every day. His future family should be patient and understanding as he learns that being home alone is okay and that he's safe and loved.
Bernie is a total sweetheart who loves people and has the gentlest way of showing affection-with those adorable little face licks! He's also a big fan of playing fetch and will happily chase after his favorite toy before settling in for some cuddles.
And for the cat lovers out there-Bernie has done wonderfully with cats in his foster home! He has shown no interest in bothering them and could be a great fit for a home with feline friends (with proper introductions, of course).
If you're looking for a small, sweet, playful pup who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, Bernie might be the perfect match.

ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.

2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.

3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below:

It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 3 days. If the meeting goes well, you will submit payment electronically and be able to take your new family member home with you immediately! If for whatever reason you do not take the animal home after the first meeting, please understand that we will continue to process applications for the animal and availability is not guaranteed.
