Scooby and his siblings got off to a difficult start. They were discovered living underneath a home after a kind person found them and realized they couldn't safely care for all of the puppies. Wanting the best for them, they brought the family to a local shelter, but shelters can be especially stressful places for tiny puppies. Knowing these little ones deserved a chance to grow up in loving homes, Our Pet Project Rescue stepped in to help.

Today, Scooby is safe in a foster home in the Houston area, where he is learning what it means to be loved, cared for, and part of a family. Now healthy, happy, and thriving, he is ready to find the forever home he deserves.

*Believed to be a Terrier mix - mom is a 12 lb scruffy terrier

*Approximately 5 pounds - should stay small when fully grown

*Playful, happy, and full of puppy energy

*Loves tug-of-war

*Enjoys playing fetch

*Already knows "sit"

*Working on potty training

*Friendly and affectionate

*Loves attention and being part of the fun

Scooby would thrive with an active family that wants a playful companion and is committed to continuing his training and socialization. He would do well with children who understand how to interact gently with a small puppy and with adopters who have time to help him grow into a confident adult dog.
