Meet Niko Cage

Niko Cage is a 2-year-old tan Terrier mix weighing in at a petite 17 pounds. This handsome little guy came to us as an owner surrender after being pulled from a shelter, where he arrived covered in fleas and understandably unsure of the world around him.

Despite his rough start, Niko has shown that beneath his cautious exterior is a sweet, affectionate dog who just needed a little patience and kindness. As he's settled into rescue, he's been slowly learning that people can be trusted, and his personality is beginning to shine. Once he feels safe, Niko is incredibly cuddly and loves being close to his people.

Niko is still working on his potty training and will need a family committed to helping him continue building good habits. Because he can be a bit hesitant in new situations, he would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can adjust at his own pace and continue gaining confidence.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
