Hi... I'm Lainey Wilson.

I'm only a year old, about 50 pounds, and somehow I already know what it feels like to be scared and alone. I was running through traffic, weaving between cars, not really knowing where I was going... just trying to make it to the other side of something I didn't understand.

Then someone stopped.

They didn't look away. They didn't keep driving. They chose me.

That moment changed everything.

Now I'm safe with CAMO, and my healing has begun. My body is still catching up. My skin is a little crusty and scabbed as it heals, and my ears are almost back to normal after an infection that made everything harder than it should have been. But the vet says I'm going to be just fine... and for the first time, I think I believe it.

Because even after everything, my heart never forgot how to love.

I love people. I love other dogs. I love being close, leaning in, feeling like I belong somewhere. It doesn't take much to make me happy... just a gentle hand, a kind voice, and the promise that I won't have to run alone ever again.

They say I'm going to have a glow up, and maybe I will. Maybe my coat will grow back soft and full, and my skin will heal until you can't see where I've been.

But the best part of me is already here.

Adoption fee is: $500.00

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
