Fifi - Terrier Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Hi, my name is Fifi (but my foster family also calls me Frida)!

I am approximately two years old, weigh 27 pounds, and my people think I may be a small Terrier mix. Im the perfect size to join you on adventures and then curl up nearby when its time to relax.

I may be a little shy when we first meet. New people can make me nervous, so I might bark or hide at first. But please dont let that fool you! Give me a little patience, a proper introduction, and a chance to get to know you, and youll discover that Im an incredibly sweet, loving girl who just needs a moment to build confidence.

Im house trained and crate trained, and Im perfectly content relaxing in my crate when my family is away. I absolutely love car rides and usually sleep through the trip, making me an easy travel companion. I get excited when we first start our walks and may pull on the leash for a minute, but I settle down quickly and enjoy exploring with my person.

I get along wonderfully with both large and small dogs and love having canine friends to play with. Ive also lived with cats. I sometimes think chasing them sounds like fun, but Im very responsive when Im told no and redirect easily. Ive even been around an 8-month-old baby and have done great. My favorite pastime? Sneaking off with the babys crackers whenever I get the chance!

I have a playful spirit and enjoy running, playing outside, soaking up the sunshine, and spending time with my family. I love toys, especially durable chew toys and balls. Plush toys dont stand much of a chance with meI can dismantle those in record time! I already know how to sit, although I still get a little excited and sometimes jump up for my treat. My foster family is helping me polish my manners every day.

I came into rescue after I was found narrowly avoiding being hit by a car. Thankfully, I was rescued before anything happened, and now Im ready to find the loving forever family Ive always deserved.

I am healthy, spayed, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped, so Im ready to head home with my new family.
