Hi, my name is Dolly Joy.

I am a 9-year-old Terrier mix, about 15 pounds of gentle heart and quiet love. I didn't always have a safe place to call my own. I was found as a stray after being hit by a car. I was scared and hurt, but someone kind saw me and gave me a chance to fight my way back.

I've had a lot of medical care since then. I had ilium repair surgery, FHO surgery, and eye surgery too. It sounds like a lot (because it is), but I'm a strong little girl, and I've been healing more every day. I'm doing amazing, and I'm so proud of how far I've come.

Even after everything, I still believe in people. I like gentle voices, soft hands, and being close to someone who makes me feel safe. I'm not asking for much, just a warm bed, a calm home, and someone who will love me while I finish healing and for all the days after. I would really prefer an adult home only.

I may be small, but my heart is big. I'm learning that life can be soft and kind again. I enjoy quiet moments, resting near my person, and feeling like I belong somewhere.

What I want most is a forever home. A place where I won't have to be scared anymore. A family who will see me not for what I've been through, but for who I am now, a sweet little survivor who still has so much love to give.

Adoption fee is: $300

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
