Meet Verdi!

Verdi is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than being close to her people. If you’re looking for a professional snuggler, Verdi may be your girl! She loves to curl up against her human, often pressing her head right into your neck for the ultimate cuddle session.

Verdi is mostly house trained and crate trained, and she does well settling in her crate when it's time to relax. While she loves being near her humans, she also knows how to enjoy some quiet time on her own.

When she's not snuggling, Verdi loves to play! She has a particular love for little squeaky toys and balls and enjoys playing fetch. She has also enjoyed play-wrestling with one of the resident dogs, and watching the two of them romp around together is pretty adorable.

Verdi is kid friendly and enjoys being part of the family. She is a fun combination of affectionate cuddle bug and playful companion.

One thing her future family will need to be aware of is that Verdi has shown some resource-guarding tendencies with high-value toys and food. Her adopter will need to be comfortable managing this behavior and continuing to work with her through positive, consistent training. She will do best with a family who understands the importance of respecting her boundaries around valued items and using appropriate management rather than taking things away unnecessarily.
