Honey Comb is a cuddly, loving 6 year old terrier mix that weighs 68 lbs. She is full grown and will not get any larger. Honey Comb is best described as sweet, affectionate, loving, smart, and silly. This cuddly girl is truly the perfect mix of playful energy and hang out chill vibes. If you are looking for a cuddle bug type of dog, Honey Comb is your girl! She is very affectionate and loves to be loved on. Her favorite place in the world is right by your side. Whether its watching tv, reading a book, or just relaxing, she is always happy to be curled up next to you. She finds every chance to touch her humans whether it’s resting her head on your lap, nuzzling into your neck for cuddles, or resting her paw on your arm as she falls asleep. Best of all, she's not a big kisser, so you can enjoy all the cuddles without the slobber! Although she loves to be with her humans, she’s not a stage five clinger. While Honey Comb loves being close to her humans, she's also wonderfully independent. She knows how to entertain herself when you're busy and makes an excellent work-from-home companion. She's content to nap nearby, watch the world go by through the window, or quietly enjoy her favorite chew bone or toy. Her calm nature means she won't distract you while you're trying to get things done. When it's time for fun, Honey Comb is always ready. The words "Let's go outside!" instantly send her into a happy bounce. She loves soaking up the sunshine, lounging on the deck, rolling around in the grass, and keeping a watchful eye out for squirrels. When she's especially excited, she'll do the cutest zoomies around the yard. She also enjoys neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. Honey Comb loves meeting new people, both young and old and is great with kids. She woos everyone she meets with her big smile, wagging tail, and her signature “stop, drop, and roll move’ which is her not so subtle way of letting everyone know she wants belly rubs. Whether it’s a dinner party, ladies night, or poker, Honey Comb is in! She will greet all your guests as they walk through the door then finds a spot laying by her new friends. No one has ever left her foster’s house without saying what a sweetheart she is. In addition to being loving and social, Honey Comb has excellent manners. She's incredibly smart and learns household routines quickly. She's respectful around food and won't even sneak a bite from a plate left on the coffee table. Her easygoing personality, gentle nature, and wonderful manners make her a joy to live with. Honey Comb is ready to find a forever family who will appreciate her affectionate heart, sweet personality, and loyal companionship. If you're looking for a best friend who will fill your days with cuddles, smiles, and unconditional love, Honey Comb may be the perfect match.

Honey Comb is low to medium energy, so she is pretty calm and laid back, but she never passes up the opportunity to go have some fun. She is best described as an active couch potato because she's happy to lounge around as long as her human wants to, but the minute you want to go outside and go on a fun car ride, she's ready to go too. Every morning she starts her day by going to her favorite rug, sprawling out on her back and wiggling side to side with her paws straight in the air with a goofy smile on her face. She will spend a few minutes playing tug-o-war, chasing a toy, or doing a dog puzzle followed by a cool down laying on the floor. She has a silly side too and will do a little puppy pounce when she gets to her favorite bone. She enjoys going on short leisurely walks around peaceful, low traffic nature trails, and also on long, adventures hiking and exploring nature trails. Her favorite activities involve just being with her humans.  She loves her toys, chews, and puzzle games, and can happily entertain herself while you’re busy. She would be really happy if she had a monthly BarkBox subscription so she can get new fun toys and chews each month. Puzzle games and chew bones will also be great for keeping her busy indoors if you work from home, especially on rainy days. She would love to have a fenced in backyard that she can play fetch and sunbathe in, and is a non-negotiable for this sun-loving princess.

Honey Comb is kid friendly and absolutely adores being loved and doted on. She rolls on her back when she has kid visitors in her foster home and welcomes all the belly rubs she can get. She is a big girl who thinks she's a lap dog, so she may accidentally knock over smaller children who may not be as steady on their feet. Her fosters have taught her how to be calm with new visitors, so now she is more aware of that big booty. For that reason, it is recommended that she be in a home with kids 6 and up so that happy wiggle booty doesn't knock any tiny toddlers over. She loves to cuddle and play fetch, so she will be a happy girl if she has more humans to interact with in the home. She loves nothing more than being hugged and cuddled by her humans. Honey Comb would thrive as the only pet in her forever home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. While she absolutely adores people, other dogs tend to make her nervous and uncomfortable. Because of this, she is happiest when she doesn't have to share her space with canine companions. As an only pet, Honey Comb truly shines and forms strong, loving bonds with her humans. She has not been tested with cats, so a feline-free home is recommended. Fortunately, Honey Comb has more than enough personality, affection, and companionship to fill your home all on her own. She loves being involved in daily activities, spending time with her people, and serving as your loyal shadow throughout the day. Her ideal home would be one that understands her preference for being the center of attention . In return, Honey Comb will reward her family with endless cuddles, unwavering loyalty, and all the love they could ever ask for.

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She loves to go on walks on quieter nature trails where she won't have frequent run-ins with other dogs because they make her nervous, especially the ones that bark at her. When she has a quiet, peaceful walk, she really shows off perfect leash walking manners. She would love nothing more than  a home with a fenced in yard so she can enjoy doing her daily zoomies, playing fetch, and sunbathing whenever she wants. She is always happy to meet new people and will wait patiently to be greeted by a new friend. She is not destructive at all and can be trusted to be left out alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel if her humans prefer that she does, but she would really love to sleep with her forever family in bed at night, but would be perfectly content to sleep on a dog bed right next to the bed if needed. She is fully potty trained and will not have an accident in the home. She will communicate she needs to potty by tap dancing by the door. She will not have an accident even if she stays out while her fosters are out for a full work day.

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. She needs a home with a fenced in backyard and that is a non-negotiable for her. She would much prefer to live in a quieter suburban or rural area where she can enjoy the outdoors without having to squeeze by a bunch of dogs on busy sidewalks or worry about a constant flow of cars as she's crossing the road on walks. No public dog parks for this sweet girl because she doesn't want to engage with other dogs anyways. She would love to have fun adventures at Sniff Spots for playtime, sniffing activities, and exercise. Honey Comb prefers to be the star of the show, so she needs to be the only pet in her forever home. She’s happiest when all the love and attention are just for her so she can soak up all the love and cuddles. Honey Comb's ideal family should be experienced with bully breeds and know how to provide consistent structure for a dog-reactive dog. Honey Comb is a loyal, affectionate girl with so much love to share and is eagerly waiting for a family to call her own. She would thrive in a home filled with affection, fun adventures, and quality time with the people she loves.
