Flintstones! Meet Fox Flintstone, he's the modern stone age dog for youuuu! This adorable pup is a 2-and-a-half-month-old Terrier mix, weighing 12 pounds (as of 6/29/26). He and his sister, Fern, were strays around the town of Bedrock, Tennessee. But once he's living in your swanky cave, he'll be saying Yabba Dabba Doo and you will too!
Fox is a fun boy who has loads of puppy energy but he's also a bit calmer than his sister. This sweet boy has had no issues with other dinosaurs (dogs) or strangers, including neighbors that are named Barney Rubble! He's also met kids who like to hit things and say, "Bam! Bam!" around the rescue. We're not sure if he's met any pet saber toothed-tigers (cats) yet, but an introduction is in order! He's a curious one who will love exploring with his forever family.
Fox will need all the help he can get with puppy training, leashes, crates, and potty as he adjusts to your cozy cave. As a trade-off, he'll use his little legs to drive your Flintmobile wherever and whenever you need! It's like Uber but stone age! Fox is a cutie who will be a wonderful companion for any prehistoric family!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
