DESCRIPTION
Sirius is a 3.5-month-old Terrier mix who weighs 24 pounds. This sweet boy has a gentle, sensitive nature and is still building his confidence in new situations. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate personality begins to shine. Sirius is dog friendly and may benefit from a confident canine friend to help show him the ropes.
As a young puppy, Sirius is still learning about the world around him. He’s doing really well with going potty outside on a consistent schedule and will need continued support with house training and basic obedience. He should do well with kids of all ages, though like any puppy, he may accidentally knock over a tiny tot while he’s figuring out his manners.
Sirius is looking for a patient, loving home that will help him continue to grow and gain confidence. With time, encouragement, and positive experiences, he’s sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The terrier is a spirited and intelligent dog breed known for its feisty personality and boundless energy.
