SWEET, FRIENDLY & A LITTLE SHY: Approx. 9-10 months old / Approx. 19 lbs. & growing

Hi, I’m Aero! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control - I’m still not quite sure how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be with Mostly Mutts now and in a wonderful foster home! I’m a sweet, hopeful pup with my whole future ahead of me, and I can’t wait to meet the person who will make me part of their family.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was learning to play. There aren’t dogs in my foster home, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: In my foster home, I’m described as kind, loving, curious, and playful. I can be a little shy or nervous in new places and prefer to stay close to home, but once I’m comfortable, I’m such a sweet and fun pup - my foster family says they just love me! At the shelter, the volunteers say I’m a bit nervous at first, but sweet and happy. I was a wonderful boy for my bath - making great eye contact and really paying attention to what was being asked of me. I did get a little scared of the ear cleaner, but overall, I was friendly, calm, and very sweet. / Energy level: Currently 5-7+ though this could change as I grow.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I was in the Mostly Mutts University training program before I went into a nice foster home and my trainer reported that I had already mastered the ‘stay’, ‘come’, and ‘leave it’ commands. In my foster home, I’ve learned to ‘sit’, and I’m working on ‘shake’ now. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing very well in my crate in my foster home when I need to be crated. They report that I’ve been quiet and kept it clean, too. / My potty manners are coming along nicely in my foster home with only a few accidents, so keep me on a good take-out schedule and I hope to fully master this soon.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love playing fetch, being petted, and having fun with my toys and of course, my people! / I’m not a big fan of walking in busy areas - things like traffic or lots of people can feel a bit too much for me, and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.
