A SWEET LITTLE SENIOR GIRL: Approx. 12 years old / Approx. 11 lbs.

Hi there, my name is Jenn! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control when I needed quite a bit of medical attention due to severe neglect. Thankfully, they have met my medical needs (though my fur is still quite thin and I’m not sure if it will all grow back in or not) so I’m excited to find my furever family. I have been enjoying time in a wonderful foster home while I wait. Perhaps you’re looking for a sweet senior like me to love.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve met several different dogs while in my foster homes and liked them, so – if you have a nice gentle dog at home already - let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I spent about a week with a sweet and gentle 5-year-old girl in one of my foster homes, and I was gentle with her, too. So, if you have kids like this, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet and affectionate girl who attaches very easily to my people. I’m not much of a player, but I do love cuddles and attention. I will follow you everywhere to be sure no snuggle goes uncollected. / Energy level: 2-4.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I may know ‘sit’ and ‘stay’, but it’s been a little while since I practiced them, so let’s check on that. I do have excellent door and car manners. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together. / I haven’t been crated in my foster home, as I generally just sleep when my foster is away. / My potty habits depend on my environment, according to my foster. If someone is home for frequent let-outs, my potty habits are good, so a stay- or work-from-home family member would be perfect for me.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: Wherever you are, that is where I am happiest … especially in a lap. I love car rides, so if you need a buddy to go on errands or adventures, I’m your girl! I also enjoy taking leisurely strolls and cuddling with my people. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I sure don’t want to be neglected again and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love and attention.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Now that I have had my medical needs addressed (mammary surgery and another mass removed, spay surgery, a good dental cleaning with about 6 teeth removed and good nutrition for my thin fur), I am feeling much better! (Just ask for more details about the above-mentioned medical procedures.) I’m on a good over-the-counter Cosequin joint supplement which is good for all older dogs.
