Rusty is a nearly 5-year-old Border Collie/Poodle mix (Borderdoodle) born June 4, 2021. He is a tall, long-legged, striking boy with a beautiful gray and white coat and a big heart to match. He weighs approximately 50-55 lbs.

This handsome guy is extremely intelligent, deeply loving, and very people-oriented. Rusty thrives on companionship and bonds strongly with his family. He is not suited for long hours alone and would do best in a home where someone is present much of the day or where he can be included in daily routines.

Personality & Temperament:

* Very smart and highly trainable
* Calm and well-mannered in the home
* Barks only when appropriate (alerting to strangers or perceived threats)
* Excellent with children-gentle, patient, and affectionate
* Friendly with familiar dogs and people
* Loves to snuggle and stay close to his humans

Household Manners:

* Fully house trained with zero indoor accidents
* Raised completely as an inside companion dog
* Well-behaved and respectful in the home

Lifestyle Needs:

* Loves outdoor play, especially with children
* Should not be left outside or kenneled for long periods
* Needs daily human interaction, attention, and enrichment
* Best suited for a family home where he is included as part of everyday life
