STOP SCROLLING. Someone is about to adopt the wrong dog.
You know what happens all the time?
People fall in love with a puppy because its cute.
Then months later theyre overwhelmed with potty training, chewing, jumping, endless energy, and wondering why no one warned them.
Meanwhile...
Im over here like...
Um... hello? I already know how to be an awesome dog.
My name is Louise, and Im around 2 years old. Im done with the puppy nonsense, but Im still young enough for years of adventures.
I walk beautifully on a leash.
I ride great in the car.
Im heartworm negative.
Im spayed.
Im learning my house manners every single day and will thrive with a consistent routine.
And can we talk about my personality?
Im sweet.
Im goofy.
Im incredibly easy to love.
I dont need to be the center of attention at the dog park. In fact, Id actually prefer being your one and only. More couch space. More belly rubs. More snacks. Seems like a win-win to me.
I didnt exactly get the fairytale beginning every dog deserves. I was found trying to survive on my own, wondering if anyone would ever come for me.
They did.
Now Im wondering...
Will anyone ever come just for me?
Not because they feel sorry for me.
Because they see me.
Because they know that sometimes the very best dog isnt the loudest one... or the youngest one... or the flashiest one.
Sometimes shes just the quiet little white dog whos been waiting patiently for someone to realize shes been the right choice all along.
If youve been thinking about adding a dog to your family...
Please dont scroll past me.
I think weve both waited long enough.
