FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR WINNIE!

Apparently someone looked at THIS FACE and decided the streets of Eastern Market were where she belonged.

We will never understand it.

This absolutely adorable little pit mix was dumped at Eastern Market, left to figure things out on her own. And somehow, after being failed by the humans who were supposed to protect her, she still thinks people are pretty much the greatest thing ever.

She is only around a year old and is an absolute SWEETHEART of a dog. She is incredibly people-friendly, affectionate, happy, and just wants to be close to you. Look at those eyes. She isnt asking for much—just someone who wont leave her again.

And the good news keeps coming...

Potty trained
Good in the house
Extremely people friendly
Had absolutely NO reaction to other dogs at the shelter
From what weve seen so far, she seems to prefer female dogs
Meet and greet required with any potential fur siblings
Cats are unknown
Only about 1 year old
She is not yet spayed, so there can be NO unaltered male dogs in the home

This girl has already shown us that she knows how to live in a home. She knows how to behave. She knows how to love.

What she doesnt know is why she doesnt have a home anymore.

Wed really like to make sure she never has to wonder that again.

She needs a foster OR, even better, a foster-to-adopt home where she can unpack her little emotional suitcase, settle in, and realize that being dumped was the end of her old life—not the beginning of another one.
