BUCK IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED IN TEXAS, BUT CAN COME TO IOWA ON OUR NEXT TRANSPORT.

Buck is an approximately 5-month-old German Shepherd mix who is looking for a forever family of his own. He was found as a stray outside of Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care while he waits for the perfect home.

Buck is everything youd expect from a young German Shepherd mix—smart, playful, curious, and always ready for his next adventure. He loves exploring, playing with toys, learning new things, and spending time with his people. After a day full of fun, hes just as happy to curl up for a nap by your side.

Like any puppy his age, Buck is still learning the ropes. He will thrive with a family committed to continuing his training, socialization, and helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, Buck is sure to make an incredible companion.

Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce him to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to his development!

Buck is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.
